| STEIFF 1991 UK BRITISH BEAR |
| This bear is the genuine 1912 replica of the Titanic Mourning bear. It is referred to as Othello but was not named this by Steiff. The bear is a rare find with growler, certificate and box in mint condition. It is long curly black mohair and black eyes with red felt rims behind giving the bear a sad, wistful look which it totally appropriate. There were only some 500 of the original made in 1912 and this bear is a Limited Edition of just 3000. He is approximately 50 cm and is larger by a long way than the UK Collectors bears of more recent time. Black and Pink are highly sought after, this bear is a must for anyone’s collection – UK or not!! |
